The Process — Step by Step

    Site assessment

    We inspect the existing tiles for stability and adhesion. No demolition starts until we confirm the substrate is suitable.

    Surface preparation

    Deep cleaning, degreasing and securing any loose tiles. Silicone joints are removed and replaced with cement mortar.

  3. 03
    Bonding primer

    Two-component bonding primer applied over the tiles — this is the critical step that replaces the need for demolition.

  4. 04
    Fibreglass reinforcement

    Mesh embedded into the primer to prevent cracking from thermal movement or minor substrate flex.

  5. 05
    Microcement base coat

    First layer (1–1.5mm) providing body and correcting surface irregularities.

  6. 06
    Microcement finish coat

    Decorative layer (0.5–1mm) in your chosen colour and texture — the final aesthetic result.

  7. 07
    Polyurethane waterproof sealing

    2–3 coats of high-performance polyurethane sealer — waterproof, stain-resistant and suitable for showers and bath surrounds.
